Position:Care Assistant
Care Home:Edgewater
Location:Wallasey (CH44 7HY)
Contract type:Full time and part time hours available
Shifts Available:Various – Must be flexible for days and nights, 12 hour shifts
Rate:£12.21 - £12.56 Per Hour (Depending on qualification)

About the role

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • supportingpeople with their personal care
  • assistingpeople at meal times
  • understandingindividual health and wellbeing needs
  • encouragingand supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
  • promotingchoice, dignity, independence and respect
  • completing and maintainingcare records.

We have higher-than-average staffing levels when compared to other care providers. There are usually up to six colleagues on each unit that supports around ten people, giving you more time to spend with the people you support.
