Job summary

A care service provider in Thatcham is looking for compassionate individuals to join their team as care assistants. This role, which can be part-time or full-time, requires providing care to customers in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, food preparation, and companionship. Excellent communication skills and a reliable car are essential. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. Competitive pay rates from £14.36 to £15.74 per hour and various benefits make this an attractive position.

• Candidates must have their own insurable car for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to customers within their own homes.
• Assist with washing and bathing, toileting, and domestic chores.

Job description

Along with excellent rates of pay from £14.36 to £15.14 per hour weekdays, weekends £15.74 per hour and 40p per mile allowance. Double pay on bank holiday £28.72 per hour.

We are looking for a caring, passionate individual to join our team on a part-time or full time basis, working various mixed shifts from 7am to 10pm including alternate weekends, to provide care to our customers within their own homes.

• Duties will include:
• Washing and bathing
• Toileting and commode use
• Domestic chores
• Food preparation and cooking
• Companionship
• Giving medication

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. The role will require flexibility to travel so candidates must have their own car they can insure for work use.

No experience needed as we offer a skills assessment programme to assist you with this role.
