Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support clients at Canters Meadow in the local area. You’ll help with daily routines, personal care, meals, shopping, and offer companionship and reassurance in clients’ own homes.

No formal experience is required, but a caring nature, good communication, and a valid UK driving licence are essential. Flexible contracts and development opportunities are offered within a well-established UK care provider.

Qualifications

• A warm, caring and compassionate approach to supporting others.
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily routines, household tasks and personal care.
• Assisting with shopping, meals and providing a comforting cup of tea.
• Providing companionship and a listening ear.
• Helping with medication as required.

The Role Of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About You

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll Bring

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
