Job description

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and reliable Care and Support Assistant to provide dedicated support to one gentleman with autism . This role is primarily focused on building a trusting relationship with him, understanding his individual needs, and helping him to live a fulfilling, independent life .

A key aspect of this role is developing and maintaining a positive, professional relationship with his family. You will liaise regularly with family members, communicating effectively, sharing relevant updates, and working collaboratively to ensure a consistent, person-centred approach that meets his needs and promotes his wellbeing .

While your main responsibility will be supporting this individual , you will also be expected to provide care and support to other service users within the service as required . This includes promoting independence, assisting with daily living activities, supporting social and community engagement, and ensuring the wellbeing, dignity, and individual choices of everyone you support .
