Job Description
What you’ll do?
Being a Reablement Health Care Worker is so much more rewarding than you think. In this role, you aren’t taking care of people in a healthcare setting – you are helping them to manage their own personal care within their own homes. By focusing on abilities and outcomes, you are assisting them to improve their long-term independence.
The role means you will be supporting individuals who have been discharged from hospital or may have had an illness, crisis, fall at home or change in circumstances in relation to themselves or their careers. Our main aim is to help individuals gain confidence by working alongside them and sharing in their pride as they achieve goals and gain independence.
Qualifications
What you’ll need?
You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
