Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant in Swindon to provide compassionate personal care, support daily living activities, and build meaningful relationships with residents in a busy care home. The role offers funded training, progression opportunities, and flexible shifts as part of a two-week rolling rota.

Night care and bank shifts are also available; you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to commit to the stated shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and great with people.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
• Care Assistant to work 24 hours over a 2 week rolling rota; night Care Assistant 36 hours over a 2 week rolling rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with medication administration and recording.
• Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
• Help enrich residents' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement.

The role of a Care Assistant:

• Care Assistantto work 24 hours over a 2 week rolling rota - shift pattern to be confirmed
• Night Care Assistant to work 36 hours over a 2 week rolling rota
• Shift pattern for Night Care Assistant as follows:
• Week 1 Thursday from 8pm to 8am
• Week 2 Tuesday from 8pm to 8am and Saturday from 8pm to 8am
• Bank Care Assistantto have the flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts as and when required
