Advantage Healthcare in Aylesbury is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman and his wife at home. The role focuses on person-centred care, privacy and companionship, including mobility assistance and daily routines.

You will provide personal care, bowel management, meal prep, and light household tasks, while respecting the couple's space. A full UK driving licence with access to a car is essential for travel in the local area.

Location: Dinton, Aylesbury

Pay: £14.55 per hour - Weekdays

£15 per hour - Weekends

Shifts: Day Shifts 9 am - 10 pm | Monday-Sunday

Driver required: Yes -Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.

What you’ll do

This is a rewarding and person-centred role supporting a gentleman who lives with his wife and values their privacy and quality time together. He enjoys the companionship of his dog and is passionate about football, both watching and talking about the sport.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide a high level of support tailored to his needs, including:

• Personal care and manual handling
• Bowel management using Peristeen
• Meal preparation and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Offering companionship while respecting his need for space and privacy

This role is ideal for someone compassionate, respectful, and confident in delivering complex care in a home environment.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
