Job summary

Advantage Healthcare is hiring a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman at home in Aylesbury, with a focus on person-centred care and privacy. You will assist with daily living tasks, meal prep, and companionship while respecting boundaries and requests for space.

Full UK driving licence is required. No prior social care experience is necessary, and training and DBS support are provided as part of a structured induction.

Pay: £14.55 per hour - Weekdays

£15 per hour - Weekends

Shifts: Day Shifts 9 am - 10 pm | Monday-Sunday

Driver required: Yes -Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.

What you’ll do

This is a rewarding and person-centred role supporting a gentleman who lives with his wife and values their privacy and quality time together. He enjoys the companionship of his dog and is passionate about football, both watching and talking about the sport.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide a high level of support tailored to his needs, including:

• Personal care and manual handling
• Bowel management using Peristeen
• Meal preparation and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Offering companionship while respecting his need for space and privacy

This role is ideal for someone compassionate, respectful, and confident in delivering complex care in a home environment.
