Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman at home. You will provide high-level, person-centred care in a domestic setting, focusing on comfort, dignity and safety.

You’ll handle personal care, assistance with meals, light housekeeping, and companionship while respecting privacy and space. Full UK driving licence and access to a car are required to travel as needed.

• No social care experience required; compassion and reliability valued.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support with daily activities.
• Bowel management and assistance as needed.
• Meal preparation and light household tasks (cleaning, laundry).

Shifts: Day Shifts 9 am - 10 pm | Monday-Sunday

Job Description

What you’ll do

This is a rewarding and person-centred role supporting a gentleman who lives with his wife and values their privacy and quality time together. He enjoys the companionship of his dog and is passionate about football, both watching and talking about the sport.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide a high level of support tailored to his needs, including:

• Personal care and manual handling
• Bowel management using Peristeen
• Meal preparation and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Offering companionship while respecting his need for space and privacy

This role is ideal for someone compassionate, respectful, and confident in delivering complex care in a home environment.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.

The successful candidate will have a a full UK driving licence with access to a car.
