Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited in Rutherglen and surrounding areas is hiring a Home Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes with guaranteed hours and full paid training. No prior experience is required, and flexible shift patterns include mornings, evenings and bank shifts.

We offer competitive pay (£13.45/hour) with holiday pay, mileage allowance, weekly pay, and opportunities for career development. Full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates care and compassion for clients living at home.
• Proficient in English language communication.
• Ability to work flexible contracted shifts.
• Full UK driving licence preferred; car optional.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities including meal preparation and medication prompts.
• Provide personal care as needed.
• Support clients in planning and delivering their care.
• Record and report daily visit information accurately.

What We Are Looking For

• Kind, caring and compassionate people

• The ability to commit to one of our contracted shift patterns
• Full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance is preferred but walking runs are available.
• Experienced & non-experienced carers – everyone is welcome as we provide full training!

Your Role as a Care Assistant in the Community

• Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately
