Job summary

Scott Care Ltd is a family run business providing care in the Medway area, including Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham. We are looking for Care Workers to join our team with flexible hours to suit your needs.

We care for adults and elderly people, making a difference to their lives. Full time and part time rounds are available, including early mornings, evenings, bed time and weekends. You will be supported with training and development throughout your career.

Qualifications

• Caring attitude and compassionate approach to supporting adults and elderly people.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and follow care plans.
• Strong listening and communication skills for documenting care.
• Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
• Good writing skills for accurate documentation and records.
• You will need a smartphone to access work apps and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support people with social and physical activities.
• Booking and accompanying people to appointments.
• Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing.

£12.81 Weekday rate, enhanced weekend & bank holiday rate + mileage paid

You will be caring for adults and elderly people, making a difference to their lives. Sometimes you are the only contact the person has from one day to the next.

We are able to offer as many or as few hours as you like, around the hours of our care delivery, including early mornings, evenings, bed time and weekends. You need to be committed to your role, which will in turn offer continuity to our service users.

We have full time rounds of work available and also part time rounds during the week and weekends. Ideal for people who are working a main job or have family commitments during the week, but have some time to spare at the weekends. If it's only a few hours on a regular basis we can offer you work once we have trained you.
