Radis Community Care has an opportunity for part-time Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our team based in Dorothy Terry House in Redditch.
About the role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Your responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, helping them move to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for activities, and to their bedrooms upon request.
You will also support residents with personal care tasks such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. Additionally, you will engage residents in recreational and social activities to promote mental and physical stimulation, both individually and in groups.
The goal of this role is to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
Shifts are from 7am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, including alternate weekends.
