Job summary

Meadow Bank Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care in a residential and nursing environment in Preston. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition while upholding dignity and independence in a warm, respectful setting.

Full training and ongoing development are provided. Open to both experienced carers and newcomers to care; NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care and mobility.

• Follow care plans and recognise changes in residents' condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment where residents feel truly cared for.

Located in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Meadow Bank is a welcoming home with spacious communal areas, landscaped gardens and a strong sense of community. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45- £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
