Job summary

Mosswood Care Home in Linwood provides expert 24-hour nursing care for older adults living with dementia or physical disabilities. This Care Assistant role supports daily living, mobility and nutrition, following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing.

Full training and development are provided, with an welcoming team and a warm environment. We are looking for caring individuals, with good communication and teamwork skills, who are reliable and willing to learn.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate approach essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills expected.
• Reliable, positive attitude with willingness to learn.
• Previous care experience beneficial but not required.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to pursue.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in residents’ condition.
• Support residents’ emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Work as part of a supportive team in a warm, respectful environment.

Mosswood Care Home in Linwood provides expert 24-hour nursing care for older adults living with dementia or physical disabilities. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 32.5 / 39 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
