Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Care Assistant at Mousehold View Care Home to support older residents with personal care and daily activities. The role focuses on maintaining dignity, independence and safety through vigilant care and teamwork.

No prior experience is required as a full induction and training programme is provided. DBS clearance and UK work eligibility are required before appointment.

• Deliver high standards of personal care and work with the care team to keep services continuous for residents
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, and act accordingly
• Treat residents and visitors with courtesy, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality
• Follow safe systems of work across the full range of tasks
