Job summary

McCarthy Stone in Norwich is seeking a part-time Care Assistant to support residents at Daisy Hill Court. You’ll work 15 hours per week across early and late shifts, with some weekend work, in a central, recently developed retirement community.

You will assist with daily tasks, wellbeing activities and social opportunities, helping residents stay independent and connected while delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Living within commuting distance of the development.

£13.26 - £14.56 per hour (enhanced pay for evenings & weekends)

Daisy Hill Court comprises of 58 one and two bedroom Retirement Living PLUS apartments, situated in Eaton, on the edge of Norwich. Designed specifically for the over 70s, the development includes a beautiful landscaped garden and communal lounge.

You will be working a mix of early shifts, 8am to 4pm, and late shifts, 2pm to 9.30pm, including alternate weekends.
