Job summary

Bupa Aylesham Court Care Home in Leicester is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred care, supporting residents' independence and choices. You will join a team committed to delivering the highest standards of care and upholding Bupa's Brave, Caring and Responsible values.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, including Monday to Sunday and alternate weekends, with a permanent contract and opportunities for both full-time and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

£12.75 - £13.75 per hour depending on experience

Permanent contract. Full Time and Part time opportunities
