Job summary

Care Santé Limited is seeking Health Care Assistants in Market Harborough to support people in their own homes across Leicestershire. No prior care experience is required as training is provided, making it a rewarding role for those starting a career in care.

You will participate in shifts, including part-time patterns, with duties spanning personal care, mobility support, meals, medication prompting, light housekeeping, and social support to promote independence and quality of life.

• 7:00am – 3:00pm
• 3:00pm – 10:00pm
• Alternate weeks required

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Health Care Assistant, you will support individuals to remain independent in their own homes while promoting dignity, wellbeing, and choice.

Your Duties May Include

• Assisting with personal care including washing, dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Supporting individuals with mobility and the safe use of equipment
• Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks
• Administering or prompting medication
• Assisting with household tasks such as laundry, bed making, tidying, and light cleaning
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Supporting clients to attend appointments and access their local community
• Assisting with shopping and everyday errands
• Supporting individuals with specialist care needs where required
• Promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care at all times

Sometimes the most important part of your visit is simply being there to listen, provide reassurance, and brighten someone's day.
