Job summary

The Springs Care Home in Malvern, part of Bupa, is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team. You will work 8am–8pm with alternate weekends, delivering high-quality personal and social care to residents.

We value compassion, teamwork and good interpersonal skills. Training on our digital care system will be provided to support your development.

Salary is £13.10–£14.10 per hour depending on experience; permanent contract for 33 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Motivated, positive individuals with great interpersonal skills.
• Experience in care is not required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn the new digital care system to support residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care.
• Provide companionship and personal care as needed.
• Support nurses and senior care staff by monitoring residents and reporting changes.
• Communicate with residents’ families and healthcare professionals.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

• Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care and recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
• Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care
• Being part of a team supporting the nurse or senior care assistant in monitoring our residents and reporting change
• Communicating with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals
