Job summary

Mossview Care Home in Lochgelly, Fife, is part of Care Concern Group, delivering high quality Residential and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. This Care Assistant role focuses on dignity, independence and overall wellbeing, supporting daily living and emotional support.

You will work as part of a supportive team with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to help you grow in care. The position is open to both experienced carers and newcomers.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude. Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to support safe care.
• Contribute to a warm, supportive environment where relationships matter.
• Work as part of a team with training and development provided.

Mossview Care Home is a modern residence located in the heart of Lochgelly, Fife, providing high quality Residential and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. The home offers a supportive and welcoming environment where residents receive person centred care and feel truly at home.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
