Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group in Lingfield is seeking carers to join a dedicated Complex Care team supporting a child with complex needs to reach her full potential. You’ll deliver care at home and at school, working alongside a registered nurse to help her access education.

Care includes tracheostomy, ventilation and gastrostomy care, daily living support, and engagement in activities she enjoys. You’ll be supported by Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, with regular supervision, team meetings,

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in tracheostomy and gastrostomy care.
• Experience caring for a ventilated child.

Responsibilities

• Join a dedicated care team to support a child at home and at school.
• Deliver complex care needs including tracheostomy and gastrostomy care.
• Provide daily living support and engagement in activities the child enjoys.
• Receive supervision and training from a registered nurse via the London branch.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Join a dedicated care team supporting a delightful child with complex needs to reach her full potential. Working alongside a registered nurse, you’ll deliver care at home and at school, supporting her access to education.

Care includes tracheostomy, ventilation and gastrostomy care, daily living support, and engaging in play and activities she enjoys, such as music, singing and games.

You’ll be fully supported by theAdvantage HealthcareLondon branch, with regular supervision, team meetings, and clinical training and support from a registered nurse.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Experience in-line with the following is essential for this position: -

• Experience working in a complex care setting
• Experience in moving and handling
• Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location
