Job description

About The Role

Please note that this is a full-time role working 38.5 hours per week on day shifts, from 8am to 8pm. Full flexibility is required.

As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you will value kindness above all, which influences every aspect of our care. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories.

Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those we care for. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at Mountview, focusing on providing high-quality service at all times.

Your responsibilities include caring for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of residents, assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.

Deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality. Engage in activities within the care home, support residents with mobility aids, provide emotional support to distressed or confused residents, and care for those at the end of their lives, always prioritizing their wellbeing.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.

Our dedicated team strives to deliver outstanding care. We support their professional and personal growth through career pathways, CPD, and postgraduate programs. HC-One invests in your development with opportunities for progression into regional and national roles.
