Job summary

Newcross Healthcare is hiring care assistants to work across Kirkcaldy and the surrounding towns in Fife. You will provide essential home care, support with personal care, moving and handling, and help maintain comfort and safety for each client.

You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor care, communicate clearly with clients and families, and work as part of a supportive team. We offer flexible full- or part-time shifts and access to our HealthForceGo app for shift scheduling

Qualifications

• 6+ months paid UK care experience in the last 3 years, including personal care and moving & handling.

Care Assistant job in Kirkcaldy and across Fife

Pay: £15.07 to £16.68 per hour

Hours: Full time or part time with flexible shifts.

We are hiring exceptional carers across Kirkcaldy, Cowdenbeath, Glenrothes, Cupar, Anstruther, Newburgh, Dunfermline, and Elie to join our team in Fife.

What you will do

• Provide essential care and support to clients in their homes and communities.
• Support those in your care with both moving and handling and personal care when requirement.
• Help maintain comfort, safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver care that meets each person's needs.

What you need

• Right to work in the UK.
• At least 6 months paid UK care experience in the last 3 years, including personal care and moving and handling.
• Registration for applicants in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland such as SSSC, SCW or NISSC. This is not required in England.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Experience in providing personal care and using moving and handling equipment.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
