Job summary

Floryn House Care Home in Yarnton, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centered care for residents. The role covers personal care, mobility support and emotional wellbeing. Training and development are provided, with a flexible shift pattern including days and nights.

The successful candidate will join a caring team and contribute to a warm, respectful home where residents feel valued and supported. Prior experience is beneficial but not essential.

Care and Support - Floryn House Care Home

Contract: Full Time

Shift Type: Days & Nights Available

Contracted hours: 36-48

Our brand new, purpose-built facility situated in the beautiful village of Yarnton, Oxfordshire, provides exemplary Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 73-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £14.00 per hour
• Contracted to 36-48 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
The successfful candidate will be required to work alternate weekdays.
