Job summary

Home Instead is seeking compassionate Care Professionals to support clients at home, helping them stay safe, happy and independent. You’ll provide companionship, assist with meals, personal care, light housework and mobility support while building trusted relationships.

No formal qualifications required, but a UK driving licence and own car are essential. Training is provided, with paid annual leave, mileage reimbursement and an Employee Assistance Programme.

Role Overview

Role Overview: You will be supporting our clients to stay in their own homes, helping to keep them safe, happy and as independent as they can be. Who are you? People like being around you. You are kind, compassionate, reliable, committed and person-centred. You are an honest person who has an innate sense of warmth and friendliness. You're able to facilitate positive client relationships and you show excellent communication skills. You have excellent organisational ability and good time management skills.

• A UK driving licence is required for this role.


• You do require your own vehicle for this role with business class 1 insurance.


• You do not need any specific qualification for this role but being over the age of 18 and a driver with access to your own car is essential. You must have the right to work in the UK.


• Excellent rates of pay, we pay our Care Professionals double pay on Bank Holidays.


• We pay 39p per mile fuel expenses between your calls and when taking our clients on any outing.


• No visits for less than 1 hour.

• We pay you for undertaking your training and will support your ongoing career development.


• You will achieve the City and Guilds Care Certificate in Dementia & End of Life.
