Job summary

Care at Home Services in Hastings is looking for caring, reliable Care Assistants to support clients in their homes with daily tasks and companionship. You will help with washing, dressing, meals, light housework, and social activities, while enjoying guaranteed hours and a stable income.

Flexible shifts include mornings, school runs, evenings, weekends, and full-time roles. A valid driving licence is required to travel between clients, with training provided and DBS checks supported.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Required (car, motorbike, or moped).
• No prior care experience needed – our first-class training will ensure you have the skills and confidence to start the role.
• Ability to pass a DBS check and provide references.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant at Care at Home Services, you will make a real difference in people's lives. You'll support clients with everyday tasks like getting washed and dressed, having breakfast, going shopping, doing housework, enjoying day trips, and, most importantly, providing companionship. This is a rewarding role where you are paid to help others feel safe, cared for, and happy.

Hours:

• Various shifts available: mornings, school runs, and evenings — very flexible patterns.
• Early mornings? You could work 7am to 10am and have the rest of your day free.
• Evenings? Working from 6pm to 10pm could be perfect if you have small children or other commitments.
• Full‑time positions are also available.
