Job summary

Helping Hands in the United Kingdom is hiring a Care Assistant to support people to live well, stay independent and feel safe in their own homes. No care experience is required; kindness, reliability and a willingness to help are valued. We provide full training, ongoing support and opportunities to grow.

You will learn to assist with personal care, mobility and daily tasks, while developing trusted relationships with clients and the wider care team. Flexible shifts and paid mileage are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
