Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Caring Care Assistant to visit customers in their homes across the UK. You’ll provide warm companionship, assist with daily living, and help people stay independent and safe in the homes they love.

No prior care experience is required; full training, ongoing support, and recognised qualifications will be provided. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred; flexible shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and a full driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medications in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
