Job description

Location - 5 Old Barn, Gawcott

At Hightown, we are a housing charity that builds homes and support people. In Gawcott, near Buckingham, Milton Keynes, we provide high-quality care and support to five vulnerable adults with learning and physical disabilities.

We are looking for some new Care Assistants to join our team who have the right values, behaviours and attitudes to be the difference.

We have part time (22.5 & 30 hours) and full time (37.5) roles available.

About the role

You will be working as part of a dedicated team to empower our service users to lead the life they want. You will assist individuals with:

  • Mealtimes and social activities including music and art therapy
  • Attending appointments and maintaining their health and wellbeing
  • Promoting skills and involvement including shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Personal care needs

Sleep ins will be required.
