Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited operates a luxury care and nursing home in Highgate. You’ll join a caring team as a Care Assistant with flexible full and part-time hours, including full-time night shifts from 20:00 to 08:00 and alternating weekends.

The role focuses on compassionate general and dementia care, helping residents with daily activities while building meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Some IT skills are advantageous.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
• Help residents make their apartments feel like home.
• Participate in activities with residents, e.g., bingo, shopping and live music.

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Highgate.

What you will do

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.

• From £13.75 per hour
• Full time night shifts: 20:00-08:00 (48 hours per week)Alternate weekends required .
