Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a care home in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. You will join a team providing person-centred support for residents with learning disabilities and complex needs in a peaceful setting.

Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with strong communication and record-keeping skills. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, days, with pension, training, and recognition schemes offered.

An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers

This care home provides support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting

**To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent**

As a Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well:being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary is GBP25,178.40 per annum.
