Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a motivated Support Worker for a home-based role in the Woodbridge area. You will join a leading UK healthcare provider, working 36 hours per week on day shifts and earning GBP13.45 per hour (GBP25,178.40 per annum).

The role involves assisting with personal care, promoting wellbeing, and supporting residents with daily activities while ensuring accurate records are kept. A NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required.

Qualifications

• Driving licence desirable; transport can be provided if needed.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UKs leading healthcare providers.

This special service specialises in a range of care services, including: residential care, respite care, dementia care and convalescence care.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

As a Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well:being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• In a remote location so a Driving Licence is desirable, however transport can be provided

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary is GBP25,178.40 per annum.
