Job summary

Pilgrims' Friend Society in Great Finborough seeks a Care Assistant for part-time hours to support vulnerable residents in a Christian care home. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and delivering dignified, person-centered care within a friendly staff environment.

14 hours per week with bank shifts available; weekend and weekday coverage required. Training, development and a pension scheme are provided as part of a supportive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality, professional service of care to our residents.
• Help a resident with personal cleanliness such as helping a resident with a bath.
• Support residents to eat and drink.
• Treat others as individuals with unique and diverse needs.
• Treat our residents with dignity and respect.
• Support our residents to keep independent and healthy and encourage them to be part of the community within the home.
• Get to know residents so as to comfort, assist and give reassurance when needed.
• Assist with tidying, cleaning, laundering and other domestic tasks when needed.
• Assist in the care at end of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a high quality, professional service of care to our residents.

Hours:

• 14 hours a week plus Bank shifts are available to cover for absence, sickness, holidays and relief.
• Availability to work weekend shifts and weekday shifts is required.
