Helping Hands in Gloucester is hiring a Care Assistant to support clients in the comfort of their own homes. No prior care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, and you’ll receive guided support to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Full UK driving licence preferred to support travel between calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing and dressing.
• Assist with mobility to keep clients safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in care plans.
• Help with household tasks and meal preparation.
• Run errands such as shopping and prescription collection.
• Offer calm, considerate support that shows genuine care.

What you’ll do
