Job summary

Bowbrook Care Home is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with daily activities and personal care. Roles include day, night, or bank shifts, 18 or 20 hours per week, onsite at Worthington Road, Lichfield. No experience required; full training and ongoing development are provided to help you progress.

You will work with a supportive team, using IT systems as needed, and participate in social activities and care routines to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Experience isn’t required, but a kind personality is. We provide full training and ongoing development to help you build confidence, gain qualifications, and progress your professional career.
• Good written/verbal communication and people skills are essential.
• Flexibility is important; team members work alternate weekends.
• Willingness to work with electronic devices and computer systems.

• Organise and take part in social and recreational activities for residents.
• Assist with residents’ personal care and mealtimes.
• Provide support to help residents maintain their independence.
• Get to know residents and their families to provide the best possible care.
