Job summary

Island Healthcare Ltd in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, is hiring a Care Assistant. This 35-hour-week role includes shifts 7am-2pm and 2pm-9pm, with 5-day work weeks and alternating weekends. Basic rate £12.80/hr plus NVQ-based uplifts and weekend enhancemnts.

Applicants must live on the Isle of Wight or relocate. Benefits include funded qualifications, free meals, uniforms, and a staff bus service to Havenstreet sites.

Qualifications

• Care experience or NVQ Level 2 is helpful but not essential.
• NVQ 2/Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent preferred.

Job Details

• Job Title: Care Assistant
• Location: Tile House, Shanklin, Isle of Wight
• Hours: 35 hours per week shifts 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm - Mixture of shifts to be worked flexibly over 5 days and work every other weekend.
• Salary:
• Basic rate: £12.80
• NVQ 2/Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent + 25p per hour
• NVQ 3/Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent + 50p per hour
• Enhancements: 10% for weekends
• Attendance Bonus: +75p per hour if you attend all shifts on your rota. T&Cs apply
