Job summary

Hampshire County Council in Emsworth is seeking a Care Assistant to join our Older Adults Homes. You will support daily living, personal care, and safety, both day and night, delivering person-centred care and promoting independence for residents.

This permanent role offers a warm, supportive team environment and opportunities to develop within the care sector while improving residents’ quality of life. Weekend/Bank holiday work may apply with enhancements.

• Support daily living: Help with daily activities including personal care, ensuring the comfort, wellbeing and safety of our residents.
• Support at night:Help with activities including personal care, ensuring the comfort, wellbeing and safety of our residents at night.
• Provide person-centred care:Tailor your care planning to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Promote independence:Encourage residents to make personal care choices and support their self-care and independence.
• Build relationships:Establish supportive connections with residents, their families, and colleagues.

This role involves some weekend and bank holidays working, for which enhancements are paid in line with the HCC salary policy.
