Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to provide overnight support for a child with complex needs in the Peacehaven area. You will receive full training and ongoing clinical support for tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, moving and handling, and medication administration.

Duties include monitoring the tracheostomy, suctioning, managing PEG feeds, and administering medications during night shifts (8 pm–8 am).

Qualifikationen

• Experience caring for service users with tracheostomies is essential.
• Experience with PEG feeding is advantageous.
• Experience with suctioning and medication administration is advantageous.

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and develop your skills with full training and ongoing clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, moving and handling equipment, and medication administration. In this role, you'll provide overnight support to a child with complex care needs, with key responsibilities focused on monitoring their tracheostomy, suctioning, managing PEG feeds and administering medication. We also have another local paediatric package you may be required to work in the Brighton area with very similar clinical requirements. Complex Care Assistant Job: Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• PEG feeding
• Suctioning
• Medication Administration

The only essential requirement for this position is previous experience in caring for service users with tracheostomies.

Pay Rate: £15 per hour Shifts Available: Thursday, Friday & Sunday Nights - 8 pm - 8 am
