Job summary

Newcross Healthcare is hiring a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality in-home care in Ayr, South Ayrshire. You will support clients with daily living activities, moving and handling, and personal care, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care.

The role offers permanent employment in temporary locations, with full-time or part-time hours and flexible shifts. Right to work in the UK and prior care experience are valued, with ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• At least six months of paid UK care experience in the last three years.
• Experience in personal care and using moving and handling equipment.
• Registration in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland (SSSC/SCW/NISSC) not required in England.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £15.07 to £16.68 per hour

Hours: Full time or part time with flexible shifts
