Job summary

Bupa is hiring a Care Assistant for Kilfillan House in Berkhamsted. This part-time role involves supporting residents with personal care and companionship, while documenting changes per care plans and regulatory requirements.

You will help with nutrition, engage residents in activities, and contribute to a person-centered care environment that respects independence and choice.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Desirable: previous experience in a care home or a Health and Social Care qualification.

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
