Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to provide companionship and support in customers' homes. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided.

You will help with personal care, mobility, medication administration and daily tasks, in a flexible, supportive environment. Join a purpose-driven team, with opportunities for training and career development, and benefits including paid mileage and holiday entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
