Job summary

MiHomecare, part of CCH, invites you to join our Finchley-based team as a Care Assistant. We offer full-time and part-time roles close to home in London communities, with shifts seven days a week and competitive hourly rates.

No prior social care experience is required; we provide full paid training. You’ll support clients at home with personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, while building meaningful relationships and enjoying flexible hours and career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Support people to stay independent in their own homes.

  • Carry out light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, light cleaning).

Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.50 per hour Saturdays: £14.50 per hour Sundays: £15.00 per hour (Enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays)

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing. You’ll support people to stay independent in their own homes and be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team.

Providing personal care with dignity and respect – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming

Assisting with medication – preparation and administration

Helping with mobility – and using aids/equipment safely

Preparing meals/snacks – and offering mealtime support

Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning

Offering companionship and reassurance – building meaningful relationships

Encourage social engagement and family connections

Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Respond to emergencies safely and effectively

Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape!)
