Job summary

Chatsworth Lodge Care Home in Chesterfield (Orchard Care Homes Ltd.) is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our caring team. You will support residents with daily needs, always treating them with dignity, respect and kindness.

Roles include personal care, activities support, meals, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. You will work as a key member of our team, delivering person-centred care and liaising with colleagues to ensure residents receive high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene).

• Observe and report changes in residents’ wellbeing.
• Act as key worker for a group of residents, tailoring care to needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments
• Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy
• Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing
• Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences
• Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture

With 39 bedrooms in our purpose-built home, each spacious room comes with its own en-suite and plenty of space to add your own belongings.Residents can also choose one of our larger rooms with two beds, perfect for couples who would like to stay together in our care home!
