About Pratt House

A purpose-built care facility located in Amersham, Pratt House offers care and support to older people in a warm and welcoming setting. There is a spacious garden filled with beautiful flowers and ample seating, so residents can enjoy the fresh air and relax outdoors while catching up with family and friends. You will be joining a fantastic team in a well-supported home with a great culture and core values.

The Role

The role of Care Assistant at Pratt House is based on a full-time contract of 36 hours per week, including alternate weekend shifts.

Shift times: 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, and 8am-8pm.

Starting rate of pay: Between £[amount] per hour.

Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting, and rewarding. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking, and mobility. Importantly, you'll help make residents feel at home by respecting their choices, dignity, and independence. You’ll also be involved in developing residents' Care Plans, including understanding any specialist support needs.
