City & County Healthcare Group in Carlton is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide dedicated support to local residents. You will offer companionship, assist with personal care and daily activities, help with medication reminders, and support mobility to improve quality of life.

The role emphasises empathy, reliability and a person-centred approach within a caring team. Flexible hours and local shifts are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficient in effective communication across all levels
• Demonstrates sincere interest in working with our client group
• DBS screening completed or in process
• Patience, compassion & a positive attitude at all times
• Eagerness to engage in vocational training and skill development
• Display initiative and autonomy

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and prevent loneliness
• Assist with personal care and daily hygiene
• Collect prescriptions and provide reminders for medications
• Prepare meals and assist with mealtimes
