Job summary

Advantage Healthcare is seeking a Regional Care Worker to join our UK-wide care team. Based in Cardiff and surrounding areas, you will provide compassionate in-home and community support, with training and clinical supervision to handle complex needs.

You will travel within a 50-mile radius, cover day and night shifts, and participate in an on-call rota. A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must work a mixture of both days and nights.
• Must have flexible availability.
• Willing to drive 50 miles to cover multiple packages of care - Access to a car is required.
• Willingness to support with mobilising new packages within 50 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in clients' homes and community settings.
• Train and support with complex care needs such as spinal injuries and ventilation as applicable.
• Travel across Cardiff and surrounding areas on an on-call rota.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate care to improve client wellbeing.

Regional Care Worker - travel of up to 50 miles required.

Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas

Pay: £15 per hour

Shifts: Covering day and night shifts across the week, including weekends.

Driver required: Yes - a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as an Assigned Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs.

You’ll need to be willing to travel to various packages withina 50-mile radiusand work on an on-call rota. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
