- To be responsible for ensuring that Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to by all staff and to comply with other regulations recommended by the Registering Authority.
- To support the Home Manager in preventing and/or controlling infections.
- To assist in the recruitment, induction, and appraisal of staff.
- To be familiar with and work in accordance with the Company Culture Manifesto.
- To follow all Company policies and procedures.
- To abide by COSHH and Health and Safety regulations.
- To work as part of a team, attend staff meetings, and complete all required training.

- To care for the Home and its contents, maintaining its appearance.
- To report concerns that may affect the delivery of care to residents.
- To document relevant information and communicate concerns to senior staff.
- To treat residents with respect, preserving their dignity and individuality.
- To assist in developing and reviewing care plans to ensure person-centered care.
- To work under the supervision of the Person in Charge.
- To be caring, sympathetic, and tactful when dealing with residents and their families.
- To assist residents with personal care, including feeding, bathing, washing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene and sanitary needs.
- To promote and participate in physical, mental, and social recreational activities.
