Job summary

Bluebird Care Bromley is seeking a Care Assistant (Driver Required) to join our community team in Bromley. We offer flexible shifts, full-time, part-time and guaranteed hours with opportunities for day, evening, weekend and night work, and a supportive training program.

You will provide personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship, with DBS checking and ongoing training. A car and access to transport within Bromley is essential.

We are in demand for carers in the following areas: Orpington, St Marys Cray and St Pauls Cray

What you’ll do:

Our Care Assistants work out in the community providing essential support with everyday tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support and companionship. You’ll receive comprehensive training, paid shadowing and ongoing support while completing the Care Certificate, ensuring you feel confident and valued in your role.

What we’re looking for:
Kind, dependable healthcare assistants who genuinely care about improving the quality of life for vulnerable adults and be fully committed to delivering high-quality care.

You will need to live in or within a reasonable commute of Bromley and have access to a car that you can use for work.

What are we offering in return?

• £14.90 - £15.00 per hour probationary rate
• £15.05 - £15.70 per hour post probation
• Tax-free mileage at 35p per mile
• Paid DBS, paid shadowing and £336 training and passing probation payment
