Job summary

Avon Search is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Days) for a 30-bed residential home in the Churston area of Brixham. The role is a 36-hour week on 8am–8pm day shifts with paid breaks, and you will be part of a caring team that supports residents’ daily routines and activities.

You will provide compassionate personal care, meals and mobility assistance while promoting dignity, independence and choice in a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Pay:£12.90 per hour (paid breaks included)

Working36 hours per week on 8am–8pm day shifts, you will provide compassionate support with personal care, daily routines, meals, activities and mobility, while promoting residents’ dignity, independence, privacy and choice.
