Job summary

Bupa Cottingley Hall Care Home in Bradford requires a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred care, supporting residents to maintain independence and choice. You will join a team focused on delivering high standards of care, with a culture built on bravery, care, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents with companionship to personal care.
  • Observe and manage residents' behaviour and document/report changes as required by legislation.
  • Support residents' nutrition and hydration per their care plan.
  • Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, individually or in groups.
  • Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
  • Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
  • Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
  • Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
